We are postponing due to Coronavirus

We hope we find you well safe and healthy in these really horrid times.

We’ve taken the tough decision to postpone BCBF20, our 5th Birthday Edition. We’ve got the 11-12 September 2020 provisionally booked in with the council. We will confirm this as soon as we can but get it in the diary for now.

The city have said they’re not in a position to support events at the moment, and we’re definitely not going to put anymore stress on them. These are unprecedented times, where we must all band together and look after each other. Bristol is the greatest, we’ll get through this and we’ll have all have a big ol’ beer together in late summer.

Our friends the breweries, food traders, and other producers are also under a lot of pressure right now, having to make some tough decisions to ride out this storm. We know June is going to be too early to be putting on events like BCBF and making it as great as we all want it to be.

Craft beer is about quality, community, care and attention and these are things that will endure. Once this virus has been overcome, we want BCBF20 to be part of its comeback, a celebration of sociability, community and this great city…

We know this is tough on you guys but your support of our event, of the breweries who come, of the indy food producers is so, so important. Without you lot, we’re nothing and so we’re very grateful for your support.

So keep those tickets for BCBF 20, and let’s make September really special. If for whatever reason you cannot make the postponed date, your tickets will be valid for up to two years. You can also transfer it to the London, Birmingham or Edinburgh versions of BCBF that we run.

We appreciate many of you might have questions. Please direct those to [email protected]. We will endeavour to get back to you as quick as possible. Please bear with us, these are very strange times with circumstances changing by the minute and we’re a small team working around the clock. Thanks for your understanding once again.

All the best, keep safe, wash those hands, and support the fine indie breweries and businesses that make this city awesome,

Greg, Dan and the BCBF team x
