BCBF 20 is postponed
We hope we find you well safe and healthy in these really difficult times. We’ve taken the tough decision to postpone BCBF20, our 5th Birthday Edition. We’ve got the 11-12 September 2020 pencilled with the council, and will confirm as soon as we can. For now, get it in the diary! The city have said they’re not in a position to support events at the moment with so much going into support essential services, and we’re definitely not going to put anymore stress on them. These are unprecedented times, where we must all band together and look after each other. Bristol is the greatest, and we’ll get through this. On top of this, our friends the breweries, food traders, and other producers are also under a lot of pressure right now. Many are having to shut up shop to ride out this storm. We know June is going to be too early to be putting on events like BCBF and making it as great as we all want it to be. Craft beer is about quality, community, care and attention and these are things that will endure. Once this virus has been overcome, we want BCBF20 to be part of its comeback, a celebration of sociability, community and this great city… Your support of our event, the breweries, the indy food producers is so, so important. Without you lot, we’re nothing and so we’re very grateful for your support. So keep those tickets for BCBF 20 and let’s make September really special. If for whatever reason you cannot make the postponed date, your tickets will be valid for up to two years. You can also transfer it to any one of our London, Birmingham or Edinburgh editions of the festival that we run. We appreciate many of you might have questions. Please direct those to [email protected]. We will endeavour to get back to you as quick as possible. Please bear with us, these are very strange times with circumstances changing by the minute and we’re a small team working around the clock. Thanks for your understanding once again. Keep safe - we can't wait to have a beer with you, Greg, Dan & the BCBF team.
